GCE Maths 'O' Level Past Papers

A fascinating collection of past papers from the 1970s and 1980s. Now you can draw your own conclusions as to whether GCSEs are easier than GCEs were. However, you should bear in mind that candidates usually took either CSEs or GCEs. The GCEs were aimed at the top 20% of the ability range, and the rest took CSEs. The present GCSEs are now aimed at most of the ability range.
